Existential humanism provides the means to have satisfactory solutions to the big questions.  I prefer to use the term ‘satisfactory solution’ over ‘answer’ because answer implies a fixed resolution, such as in mathematics where 2+2=4, but there probably isn’t such a definitive answer to these questions.  These solutions are similar to truth, where ‘true’ is an expression of the best explanation based on the knowledge we have available to us.  They work well now, but we are open to change should a more compelling one become available.  This continual state of flux provides us with intellectual engagement and the opportunity to be a part of the process and development of even more satisfactory solutions.
